This Test Preparation Class is course that provides an in-depth review of best practices involved in the role of a Registered Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee the design, control and manage the installation and maintenance of network systems.

The Registered Telecommunications Project Manager is for professionals who oversee and coordinate the interaction between designers, engineers, installers and technicians when new information and communications technology (ICT) projects are being developed or are undergoing construction. Per Bicsi, the Registered Telecommunications Project Manager possess the ability to understand and apply a vast collection of telecommunications project management principles, concepts, tools and technology. 

Upon successful completion of this preparation class, the student shall be capable of understanding the core responsibilities of a Registered Telecommunications Project Manager including:

  • Assemble The Change Control (Order) Plan
  • Calculate The Critical Path
  • Communicate Project Status
  • Conduct Walk-Through
  • Create A Project Charter
  • Create A Risk Management & Communications Plans
  • Develop Project Budget & Create EVM Metrics
  • Develop Quality Plan (QA/QC)
  • Develop Stakeholder Management Plan
  • Document/Resolve Punch List Items
  • Identify Project Resources
  • Issue/Receive Purchase/Change Orders/RFI
  • Mobilize Project Resources
  • Perform Lessons Learned & Archive Project Documentation
  • Prepare Submittals
  • Procure Approved Project Materials
  • Submit Final Project Documentation Deliverables
  • Verify/Coordinate Safety Plan
  • Verify Project Costs/Update EVM Metrics

Our refund policy covers all design training class cancellations and refunds for registered students. By registering for classes, you indicate that you have read and understand this policy. 

We may sometimes need to cancel classes if severe weather or natural disaster makes attendance unsafe for students or instructors. If this happens, we will notify you by phone or email. You will receive a full credit toward an upcoming class if we cancel due to weather or natural disaster. 

If an instructor is ill and unable to teach as scheduled, we may bring in a substitute or cancel the class. If a class is canceled due to instructor illness, we will notify you by phone or email. You may choose to receive a credit toward an upcoming class if we cancel due to instructor illness.  

If a class does not meet the minimum enrollment required to run effectively, we may have to cancel or reschedule it. Participants will have the option to transfer to another class or receive a credit for a future class.

Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or missed classes without prior notification of 14 days prior.
