Data Center Design Consultant

This Test Preparation Class is course that provides an in-depth review of best practices involved in the role of a Data Center Design Consultant to design, control and manage the installation and maintenance of data center systems.

A certified Data Center Design Consultant designs, coordinates or manages the integration of the documentation, plans, specifications, construction and ongoing operational management activities of a data center facility while meeting applicable codes, standards and industry best practices. This includes addressing the requirements of the sponsor, architects, engineers, contractors, stakeholders, service providers and others involved.

The credential, then, is for ICT designers certified to design and build data centers to the BICSI data center standard. Upon successful completion of this preparation class and the Data Center Design Consultant exam, each student shall be capable of understanding and performing these roles:

Concept Planning & Analysis

Systems

Information Technology / Ancillary Systems / Communications Connectivity

Data Center Operations & Maintenance Assessment

Security Assessment

Construction Administration & Commissioning

Our refund policy covers all design training class cancellations and refunds for registered students. By registering for classes, you indicate that you have read and understand this policy. 

We may sometimes need to cancel classes if severe weather or natural disaster makes attendance unsafe for students or instructors. If this happens, we will notify you by phone or email. You will receive a full credit toward an upcoming class if we cancel due to weather or natural disaster. 

If an instructor is ill and unable to teach as scheduled, we may bring in a substitute or cancel the class. If a class is canceled due to instructor illness, we will notify you by phone or email. You may choose to receive a credit toward an upcoming class if we cancel due to instructor illness.  

If a class does not meet the minimum enrollment required to run effectively, we may have to cancel or reschedule it. Participants will have the option to transfer to another class or receive a credit for a future class.

Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or missed classes without prior notification of 14 days prior.
